पश्चिम बंगाल स्थित कोलकाता में नगर निगम चुनाव के लिए मतदान रविवार सुबह कड़ी सुरक्षा में जारी है। 144 वार्डों की 1,776 मतदान केंद्रों पर वोटिंग सुबह शुरू हुई। दरअसल वोटिंग के दौरान ही कोलकाता के खन्ना हाई स्कूल के सामने सुबह करीब 10 बजे दो बम फेंके गए जिसमें एक वोटर घायल हो गया है। इतना ही नहीं भाजपा कार्यकर्ता और पुलिस के बीच झड़प भी हो गई। टीएमसी कार्यकर्ताओं पर वोटिंग में गड़बड़ी का आरोप लगा है। बीजेपी ने टीएमसी वालों पर सीसीटीवी कैमरों पर पर्दा डालने का आरोप लगाया है।
जानकारी है कि कोलकाता नगर निगम (केएमसी) के 144 वार्डों के लिए पुलिस सुरक्षा के बीच मतदान चल रहा है। कोलकाता नगर निगम (केएमसी) के सभी 144 वार्ड में रविवार सुबह सात बजे कड़ी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और कोविड-19 दिशा-निर्देशों के सख्ती से पालन के बीच मतदान शुरू हुआ। सुबह से ही मतदाताओं ने मतदान केंद्रों पर पहुंच कर वोट डालना शुरू कर दिया। मतदान के लिए लोग अपने-अपने बूथों पर पहुंच रहे हैं। मतदान के मद्देनजर सुरक्षा के चाक-चौबंद इंतजाम किए गए हैं। पूरे कोलकाता और आसपास के शहरों में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी है।
आपको बता दें कि कोलकाता नगर निगम चुनाव में राज्य चुनाव आयोग के एक आदेश पर हंगामा मच गया है। राज्य चुनाव आयोग ने सिर्फ दो लोगों को पूरी सुरक्षा के साथ पोलिंग बूथ के अंदर जाने का आदेश जारी किया है। ये बात खुद राज्यपाल जगदीप धनखड़ ने कही है। राज्यपाल ने बताया कि उन्हें भी सुरक्षा के साथ पोलिंग बूथ के अंदर जाने की इजाजत नहीं है।
