भीषण गर्मी और कोयले की कमी के चलते उत्तर प्रदेश, राजस्थान, आंध्र प्रदेश और तमिलनाडु समेत कई राज्यों को बिजली संकट का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। यूपी सरकार से विचार के बाद रेलवे बोर्ड ने फैसला किया कि बढ़ते हुए तापमान के चलते राज्य में बिजली की मांग लगातार बढ़ रही है। इसी बीच यूपी में बिजली आपूर्ति बनाए रखने में मदद के लिए रेलवे बोर्ड ने आठ एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों को रद्द कर दिया है।
3 घंटे तक पावर कट करने का फैसला
इन आठ एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों को इसलिए रद्द किया गया ताकि थर्मल पावर स्टेशनों के लिए सप्लाई किए जा रहे कोयले से लदी मालगाड़ी को आसानी से रास्ता दिया जा सके। और समय पर कोयला पहुंचाया जा सके। राजस्थान सरकार ने भी 3 घंटे तक पावर कट करने का फैसला किया है। देश में बिजली संकट पर केंद्रीय कोयला मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी का कहना है कि रूस से गैस की आपूर्ति ठप हो गई है। लेकिन थर्मल पावर प्लांट में 21 मिलियन टन कोयले का स्टॉक है। जो 10 दिन के लिए काफी है।
30 लाख टन का स्टॉक बाकी
केंद्रीय कोयला मंत्री पहला जोशी का कहना है कि कोल इंडिया को मिलाकर भारत के पास कुल 30 लाख टन का स्टॉक बाकी है। यह 70 से 80 दिन का स्टॉक है। इसी वजह से वर्तमान समय में स्थिति स्थिर बनी हुई है। पिछले दिनों में गर्मी के साथ-साथ बिजली की भी मांग ज्यादा बढ़ गई है। गर्मी और बिगड़ते मौसम की वजह से भी राजस्थान में बिजली संकट और गहराया नजर आया है। ऐसे में राजस्थान के कई हिस्सों में बिजली संकट का सामना लोगों को करना पड़ रहा है। राजस्थान की गहलोत सरकार ने बिजली सप्लाई में 3 घंटे तक की कटौती का फैसला किया।
कैस्को की विद्युत व्यवस्था की समीक्षा बैठक
राज्य सरकार ने बिजली की भारी कमी को देखते हुए औद्योगिक इकाइयों को भी सुनिश्चित करने का फैसला किया है। उनका कहना है कि बिजली का इस्तेमाल विवेकपूर्ण तरीके से किया जाए। बता दें कि आज ऊर्जा मंत्री एके शर्मा ने पश्चिमांचल डिस्कॉम और कैस्को की विद्युत व्यवस्था की समीक्षा बैठक की थी। समीक्षा बैठक में कहा गया कि भीषण गर्मी में लोगों को बिजली का सामना ना करना पड़े इसके लिए मेंटिनेंस कार्य में तेजी लाई जाए।
