देश में अभी तो गर्मी के मौसम की शुआत ही हुई है और अभी से ही देश जंगलों में आग लगने की घटनाएं बढ़ने लगी है। भारतीय वन सर्वेक्षण के आंकड़ों हैरान परेशान करने वाले है। पिछले एक हफ्ते में यानी 26 मार्च से एक अप्रैल के बीच देशभर के 29 राज्यों की जंगलों में लगभग 60 हजार से ज्यादा आगजनी के मामले रिपोर्ट किये गए हैं।
वही देश के बड़े जंगलों के आंकड़े तो और भी हैरान करने वाले है। इनके आंकड़े देखें तो 24 राज्यों में पिछले छह से आठ दिनों में 1,230 आग की घटनाएं रिपोर्ट की गयी है। ग़ौर करने वाली बात है कि इनमें से 235 आग की घटनाओं पर अभी भी काबू पाने की कोशिशें चल रही हैं। देश में सबसे ज्यादा मध्य प्रदेश में 93 उसके बाद महाराष्ट्र में 47, छत्तीसगढ़ में 31 और ओडिशा में 21 आगजनी के मामले अभी मौजूदा वक़्त में एक्टिव हैं।
ये पांच राज्यों के बड़े जंगल हो रहे है सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित
बीते सात दिन में लार्जेस्ट फॉरेस्ट फायर (एलएफएफ) यानी बड़े जंगलों में आगजनी से हिमाचल प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड, राजस्थान, मिजोरम और बिहार सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित हुए हैं। ये आंकड़े भारतीय वन सर्वेक्षण ने रिपोर्ट किए हैं।
इन राज्यों में हुई आगजनी की सबसे ज्यादा घटनाएं
भारतीय वन सर्वेक्षण के जारी आंकड़ों के मुताबिक़ बीते सात दिनों में 29 राज्यों में लगभग 60 हजार से ज्यादा आगजनी की छोटी-बड़ी घटनाएं रिपोर्ट की गयी है। इनमें से सबसे ज्यादा मध्य प्रदेश में 17,709 उसके बाद छत्तीसगढ़ में 12,805 फिर महाराष्ट्र में 8,920, ओडिशा में 7,130 और झारखंड में 4,684 आगजनी की घटनाएं देखी गयी हैं। देश के कई राज्यों के जंगल में आग लगने से वन्य संपदा और वन्य जीवों के जीवन पर खतरा मंडराने लगा है।
राजस्थान में रिकॉर्ड तोड़ लगातार 90 घंटे तक लगी रही आग
हाल ही में राजस्थान का सरिस्का 90 घंटों तक लगातार जलता रहा। इसके साथ ही पिछले कुछ दिनों में जम्मू कश्मीर और हिमाचल सहित देश के कई राज्यों में हजारों हेक्टेयर का जंगल तबाह हो चुके है।
